Trying to vary the blog a bit. I received this link from my friend Joe Malinowski yesterday. Live from the Subway in Christchurch, NZ on 12/3/88, full sets from ALASTAIR GALBRAITH, PLAGAL GRIND, and THE DEAD C. Good quality, extremely rare recordings. Nice little write up about the show too. Plagal Grind does 'More Than Magnetic' to open the set, a song best known from AG's 'Morse' album. Very cool to hear it with the full band. Link here...

Initial press of 'Israel (It's More of the Same)' is sold out but the Night People repress should be out soon. Stay tuned for info on that.

A bunch of new releases are coming down the pipeline. All cassettes for now. Another full length, an EP, and a session recently completed playing with Mountain Movers (well... minus Dan Greene).

Also going to be launching a bandcamp page soon. Trying to get with the times a bit. All releases will be available for free download from there.

"Israel..." is being repressed by Night People Records with new artwork by Shawn Reed. That should be out pretty soon, so if you missed the first edition watch out for that. I'll have copies of that for sale when it comes out as well.

long overdue update here. so this page is no longer an estrogen highs page because estrogen highs are no more... but fear not there are releases galore! here's some details...

STEFAN CHRISTENSEN "ISRAEL (IT'S MORE OF THE SAME)" CASSETTE
Debut cassette release from yours truly. 11 tracks on a 30 minute cassette tape. Shows a more experimental side of my writing. One time pressing limited to 100 copies. More solo releases coming soon!

ESTROGEN HIGHS "UNFORTUNATE CHRONOLOGY VOLUME 1 & 2" CASSETTES
2 30 minute cassettes featuring recordings from as far back as 2009, and as recently as 2014. Unreleased tracks, alternate versions, live recordings, covers, etc, etc. Volume 1 was released by Elm Recordings from New Haven, while Volume 2 was self-released by the band. Each tape is limited to 50 copies and is a one time pressing.
